Module 1: Introduction
Discover what to expect from my course. You will see all the materials used with links and references. This will build a good foundation for starting your journey.
Module 2: Know your tools and theory
This will be an introduction to the software and the essential brushes and tools. You'll learn professional techniques like creating dramatic lineart on vector layers, efficient coloring with raster layers and masks, and transforming your work with blending modes and the liquify tool. The course culminates with dedicated lessons and practice on applying foundational color theory to bring your artwork to life.
Module 3: Anime Girl Head
Get to know the basic of drawing expressive anime girl heads by first understanding the female facial structure and proper feature placement. This module guides you through drawing the head from the front, 3/4, and side views, using 3D models to solidify your spatial understanding. You'll then learn to create basic expressions and bring it all together with a professional technique for coloring captivating eyes, complete with a practice session on the front view.
Module 4: Anime Girl Body
This module breaks down the fundamentals of female anime anatomy, starting with overall body proportions and guiding you through drawing the core torso, arms, legs, hands, and feet using the principle of shape. You'll then apply this knowledge by constructing a full character pose from a reference image followed by a practice session to draw a complete full-body character.
Module 5: Anime Girl Hair
Master the art of drawing dynamic anime hair, starting with essential tips and techniques for constructing front and side views. This module will teach you how to draw a variety of fundamental styles, including straight, curly, ponytails, pigtails, buns, and intricate braids. You'll then learn a complete process for coloring hair to add shine, depth, and vibrant life to your characters.
Module 6: Anime Girl Clothing
Master the art of designing and illustrating anime girl clothing, starting with foundational tips on how to draw and understand the flow of basic garments like skirts and pants. You'll learn advanced coloring techniques for a variety of fabrics, including how to render realistic latex, delicate transparent cloth, and intricate ruffles and bows. The module concludes with lessons on adding fine details like patterns and decorations to give your character's outfit a unique and professional finish.
Module 7: Color and backgrounds
Learn to build immersive worlds by mastering one and two-point perspective, using blueprints to accurately place objects within your scene. This module will teach you powerful techniques to enhance your art, such as adding dynamic outline strokes and generating detailed lineart without manually drawing it. You will also learn my color techniques, how to do base color, shadow, rendering and light to bring your full character alive. Finally, put all your skills into practice by following along in a real-time session to draw a complete background from start to finish.
